Do you have a story that you would like to share with others about your journey with addiction and recovery?

Whether you have personally been through active addiction, have known someone with an addiction or are a family member/friend in your own process of recovery, we would love to hear from you!

So many people gain strength and insight from other people's experiences. Your story could help someone who needs it!

Criteria for your story

• Please note that only articles relevant to Addictionology will be accepted and Addictionology reserves the right to refuse articles for publication.
  
• If you have a personal experience with addiction and recovery, know someone who has or if you work in this field you are invited to share your story with us.
  

Guidelines

• Articles and stories should consist of between 500 - 1000 words. Longer ones will be considered but the above word count size is preferred.
• You are free to submit articles and stories anonymously.
• All articles and stories can contain an author biography at the end of the article/story if you do not wish to remain anonymous. This should contain:

• A description of who you are
• Contact details (website or email) if you wish readers to contact you directly. If you do not wish to be contacted directly by readers Addictionology’s details will be provided for comment.
  

• Addictionology reserves the right to publish articles in the Newsletter issue that is most compatible to the nature of that article and dependant on the deadlines of the publications.
• Please do not use foul language or any swear words as these will not be published.
• Please do not mention treatment centres/organisations/individual therapists by name as these will not be published.
